Women's Foundation of Boston 2020 Annual Report

Not only does WFBoston fund nonprofits, we are constantly identifying gaps and creating solutions for women and girls economic empowerment through internally developed programs. In 2020 we expanded the Women In Nonprofit (WIN) Network and added three exciting, new proprietary programs including BoardHub, Young Women’s Leadership Program and the Giving Circles Summit. OUR 2020 PROPRIETARY PROGRAMS • Grew Membership from 160 to 270 during 2020 • Hosted two virtual events with over 300 attendees in total • Obtained sponsorship by Bumble • Produced and hosted Giving Circles Summit to increase awareness & solutions • Promoted collaborative funding among Giving Circles • Year-long program to empower young women through professional development, mentorship and experiential learning • Built an in depth curriculum for women ages 21–35 • Strengthens the Boards of women and girl serving nonprofits • Advises them on sourcing talented Board candidates
