Investing in the Power of Women & Girls 19 The Women in Nonprofit (WIN) network, a joint effort of the Women’s Foundation of Boston and the Red Sox Foundation, is a fast growing network of Greater Boston nonprofit women leaders. Our mission is to host value-added events to increase leadership skills. and nonprofit outcomes. Nonprofits have limited budgets and resources for leadership training. WIN does not charge membership or event fees and all women nonprofit leaders are welcome to join regardless of organization size or income. Since inception in 2019 we have engaged 270 members, offered multiple events providing professional development and camaraderie during challenging times. As we pivoted to virtual, our June 2020 gathering focused on online fundraising with a panel of five nonprofit leaders offering advice and tips for remote events. In October 2020, we offered a thought-provoking conversation on racial equity and social justice with four experts from the Greater Boston business and the nonprofit sector. Attendance was strong and feedback was overwhelmingly positive. We are excited about the prospects for the Women In Nonprofit (WIN) Network and look forward to watching it continue to grow.
