The Impact Award recognizes influential women leaders from organizations of 50 or fewer employees, making a significant impact.
Boston (November 1, 2024) – The Women’s Edge today announced the Women’s Foundation of Boston was named as an awardee in the 1st annual Impact Awards, which honors Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts whose impact far exceeds their size. One of five awardees, the Women’s Foundation of Boston and its leader, CEO and Co-Founder Christina Gordon, has been selected as a key influencer for her significant impact on the advancement of women leaders, diversity, equity, and inclusion across Massachusetts and globally.
Today, the honorees were recognized during The Women’s Edge 24th annual Top 100 Women-Led Businesses Awards celebration. The four other honorees are Women’s Foundation of Boston Advisory Council member Nicole Obi, of the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA), Lauren Cook of Ellis Early Learning, Deb Fowler of History UnErased, and Rose Staram of Rosemark Production.

2024 marks the inaugural year for The Women’s Edge Impact Awards. The 2024 Top 100 women were asked to nominate leaders and organizations that are making a difference in the development and advancement of all women. Workplace culture, management diversity, board makeup, and innovative programs were also key selection criteria.
