Women's Foundation of Boston

Girls Inc. of Worcester offers life changing experiences and real solutions to the unique challenges girls face.

In 2024, the Foundation awarded a Catalyst Grant to GIW to fund a program impact evaluation, which will identify positive program improvement opportunities, assist in recruitment efforts, and maximize engagement of program participants.

In 2021, WFBoston funded a five-year grant to expand Girls Inc. of Worcester’s successful Eureka! and Eureka! JV programs, which provide STEM, leadership training, and college readiness skills for 6-12 grade girls, into Framingham.

In 2020, a COVID Response Fund grant from the Women’s Foundation of Boston enabled Girls Inc. of Worcester to pivot to virtual programs while Worcester public schools operated remotely, as well as operate a technology library.
