WFBoston’s Make Her Mark
inaugural fundraising event
Museum of Science, Boston, MA, USA
Thursday, November 3, 2022
6:30PM to 9PM
We hope you will join us this fall at WFBoston’s inaugural Make Her Mark event – an evening of inspiration and fun at the Boston Museum of Science.
By attending the 2022 Make Her Mark event, you’ll be empowering Greater Boston women and girls in STEM. 100% of the funds raised at the event will go directly to STEM programming.
Research shows that investing in STEM is one of the most impactful ways to economically empower women and girls. These investments help narrow the gender pay gap and cultivate a diverse and talented STEM workforce. By attending this special event, you can support this important work in our community!
Evening Highlights:
- Elegant cuisine from MAX Ultimate Food
- Open bar with classic and contemporary cocktails
- The Power of Women and Girls with STEM: Engaging panel discussion moderated by Linda Henry CEO of the Boston Globe. Panel will feature Laurie H. Glimcher, M.D., President and CEO of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Richard and Susan Smith Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, as well as WFBoston grantee partners.
- Silent auction featuring exclusive, curated travel packages
- An opportunity to make YOUR mark via our Fund a Need with Bekah Salswasser, Executive Director of the Red Sox Foundation, Executive Vice President, Social Impact for the Boston Red Sox.
