Christina Gordon (Co-Founder and CEO) holds a dual master’s degree in International Finance and Applied Economics from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston University and also studied for a joint master’s degree in Women’s Studies and Sociology at Brandeis with a focus on women in the workplace. Christina is a former assistant fund manager and technology industry equity analyst at Wellington Management. She also worked as a stock analyst at Fidelity Investments. She is a trustee of a private foundation, a member of Women Moving Millions and currently sits on the board of Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women in Boston.
Sarah Hansman (Development Manager) holds a B.A. from Boston College in theology and higher education. After her studies, she made a career shift into the business world and runs Sales Strategy for Dell Technologies where she focuses on the organization’s go-to-market. She also launched a global program at Dell, Future Women of Sales, built to empower future sales leaders. Sarah volunteers with Boston College Kairos and St. Cecilia’s Boston and is passionate about using her skills to positively impact the individuals, communities, and systems around her, while encouraging young leaders to do the same.
Anne Kaplan (Finance Manager) holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Stonehill College. She started her career at KPMG and transitioned to managerial roles leading all aspects of accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting with both large and small companies. She currently consults to small companies assisting either CEO or CFO with financial, accounting and managerial issues. Anne served as Board President of The Second Step, an organization dedicated to adult and child survivors of domestic violence. She has also volunteered at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
Annie Tallas (Grant Manager) Annie Tallas holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, an M.S. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a B.A. from the University of Vermont. She has been involved in several research studies centering on juvenile justice, parole, and corrections and recently published an analysis of juvenile representation in delinquency proceedings. Annie serves on the board of Second Chance Cars, a nonprofit serving returning citizens and veterans, where she spearheaded their grant making and evaluation protocol.
Sheila Walsh (Marketing Manager) is a former Division I athlete turned Financial Empowerment Coach. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING™ professional and provides financial education to companies, colleges/universities and sports organizations. Prior to founding Walsh Wealth & Wellness, she worked with prominent investment firms such as Capital Group/American Funds and Fidelity Investments helping financial advisors and investors understand how life events and behavioral tendencies can influence our financial journey. Sheila holds a B.A. from Brown University, where she was part of NCAA National Champion rowing teams and an MBA from Georgetown University.
