The Boston nonprofit plans to use this generous gift to ensure long-term growth


 
BOSTON, Mass. — The Women’s Foundation of Boston (WFBoston) is excited to an-
nounce the receipt of a transformational two-year $150,000 grant from The Burkehaven Family Foundation.
 
The mission of WFBoston is to economically empower Greater Boston women and girls through funding high impact leadership and economic programs in partnership with nonprofits serving solely women and girls. The Burkehaven Family Foundation is a New England-based foundation dedicated to long-term societal improvement.
 
“The Burkehaven Family Foundation grant of $150,000 over 2 years is critically important as it enables the Women’s Foundation of Boston to build internal capacity to sustain our long-term growth,” said Christina Gordon, Co-founder & CEO of WFBoston. “This strategic investment ensures that WFBoston will continue to economically empower women and girls in Greater Boston into the future.
